About the School

The Congregation of the Franciscans Sisters of St. Mary of the Angels {FSMA} was founded in Angers, France in the year 1871 by Fr. John Chrysostom OFM cap and Mother Mary Chrysostom of the Cross. The sisters had been committed to the cause of education around the globe since its inception . In India the first St. Mary’s Convent boarding school was established at Mhow {MP} in 1893. The second foundation of St. Mary’s School in India was at Ajmer, Rajasthan in 1886 which was meant primarily for catholics /christians but the school is open to all, irrespective of religion, caste or community, who would be trained to lead lives keeping with the school motto

” Let your light shine”. Many St. Mary’s Convent Schools are being run across the country, offering quality education to its students .

 

St.Mary’s Convent Sec. School, Ramganjmandi , Kota Dist. Rajasthan was founded in 1999. The school is established and managed by the St. Mary’s Higher Secondary Educational Society, Ajmer. Governed by the Article 30[1] of the Indian Constitution, it is a Private Unaided Minority co-educational institution. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education [CBSE], New Delhi.
