  My humble and prayerful greetings to all of you.

With deep sentiments of gratitude, I would like to express my sincere thanks for your relentless support and love towards this institute of learning which helps us to strive hard and move ahead to carry forward the light of knowledge to all the young minds who are entrusted to our care. I’m happy to see all the students in our institution who strive for excellence with all their effort and hard work. This institution provides the students an opportunity for all round developmentand strives to transform young minds emphasizing holistic development for a just and humane society.

The mission of our education is to impart value based education by

v Love and worship of God through daily prayer

v Adherence to truth and concern for the poor

v Love and respect for the country and all people of different religious and cultural background.

v To foster love and respect for the mother earth

v To form our students into persons of character, consciousness of their human rights and responsibilities.

Holistic education refers to an approach to education that focuses on the overall development of an individual, encompassing intellectual, emotional, social, physical, and spiritual aspects. It emphasizes the integration of academic learning with personal growth and character development

           “Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.”

The above words of ‘Aristotle’ imply the importance of education with values. The objective of education is enlightenment. Enlightenment can be achieved only by educating both the mind as well as the heart.

Education is not just confined to a defined set of syllabus or knowledge of certain fields or having degrees and diplomas. A person can be highly versed with many subjects and still come up very short in integrity and character. A truly educated person is the one who understands the purpose of education. He works with intelligence for the benefit of everyone.

Educating the mind and heart helps to bring wisdom and enlightenment among people.

Educating the heart means imparting moral values which produce empathy, integrity, compassion for diversity, and human dignity, love and respect for everyone. It makes a person capable of decision-making in tune with the values, culture, morals, compassion, ethics, and needs of  the society. It not only enables us to take information but also helps in understanding its worth. Being educated is exposing oneself to several aspects of life. True education makes us civilized human beings and helps us to take the right decision. The right decision can be taken with the help of both mind and heart.

I wish all the students who have become the part of this St. Mary’s family a great success and a bright future ahead. May the education of mind and heart enlighten all our students to become persons of character and excel in their academic career.
